How to tag friends in your facebook status and comments via facebook mobile?
Facebook hasn’t provided any way, like in smartphones, to tag friends from Facebook mobile, but I’ve found a new trick by which you will be able to tag people from your mobile using Opera Mini browser.
First of all, you’ll be needing profile ID of your friend you want to tag in the status update.
To know the profile ID, simply open the profile of the friend in your browser and copy the pofile id as shown below.
Example:
Edit the url in your address bar and copy the numbers (profile id) between '=' and '&' as highlighted below.

Most of the Facebook users now using custom URL for their profiles.
It’s little bit difficult to get the profile ID of users who are using custom URLs from mobile.
Go to friend’s profile, press and hold button '1' on the profile picture on and click ‘Open image’.
Note down the profile ID as shown in the screenshot below.
Example:
m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=273750049345632&id=100001319161339&refid=0
Lets update a status now.
Syntax: @[profileID:0]
Type the above code where you want the tag to appear in your status update.
For example: If ‘100001813658733’ is the profile ID of your friend, then type the following and publish the status.
Hi @[100001813658733:0]
Write anything you want before or after the tag code.
That’s it!!
The tag will appear and your friend will be notified.
It’s such a difficult way because you should know the profile ID of your friends in order to tag them in your status update.
This way you can even tag Facebook groups in your status. All you have to do is get the ID of the Facebook group. You can also tag yourself.
This is the only way to tag someone if you’re using Facebook mobile.
