This kernel requires an x86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU. Unable to boot – please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU


Such an error mostly encountered installing Linux into Virtual box…its simple enough…mount your iso and install through VBox..

This Error occurred while installing Manjaro 15.0 Linux in VM ware

And just Enable Intel VT-x/AMD-V from BIOS
