How To Link Your Aadhaar Card To Mobile Number ?

Hello Guys As everyone is getting a SMS from each Telecommunications services provider company (Idea, Airtel , Vodafone , Telenor ...) to link your Aadhar card to your mobile number so , We have posting this article to why its needed? and how to link addhar? so here it's - 

• Why it is needed?

      Hon’ble Supreme Court stated an effective process has been evolved to ensure identityn verification , as well as, the addresses of all mobile phone subscribers for new subscribers. In the near future, and more particularly, within one year, a similar verification also began , in case of existing subscribers.

     Based on above mentioned details of order, the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) has issued instructions to all operators to verify all existing mobile subscribers (Prepaid & Postpaid) through Aadhaar based E-KYC process on or before 06.02.2018.

Now to comply with the order they are starting campaign to do KYC (Know Your Customer)  of all existing subscribers through Aadhaar based EKYC process. they request all subscribers (excluding the subscribers who have opted their mobile connection via E-KYC mode –Aadhaar based activations by providing biometric) to visit their nearest Service provider outlets (If your are using idea sim then go at nearest idea shop) & follow simple steps to complete the mandated E-KYC process. 

 •How to Link ?

   

   You need to follow simple four steps to Link.

Step-1 – Visit to our nearest Mobile center (If idea user got to idea center) and   provide your mobile number and Aadhaar number.

Step-2 – The store executive will provide a four digit verification code on your mobile number from re-verification application.

Step-3 - you have to provide the verification code to store executive & provide your biometric. 

Step-4 - After 24hrs you will received a confirmation SMS, reply Y to complete the EKYC process.that's mean Y for continue the Aadgar link process if not dont replay Y or N It will be assume Y by default. 

*Please note that this entire exercise is free of cost and for your convenience at any Retailer shop only local mobile shope owner charge (min Rs.20) for this process. 

• What will happen if you do not link (verify) ?

As per instructions it is a mandatory to get yourself verified through Aadhaar and if your number is not verified, your services might be restricted on or before 6th Feb 2018.

So please go to your nearest shop and do verification ASAP.
