How to Backup Whatsapp chats?

Hello guys this post is for every whatsapp user and who are trying to backup there chats and media as well.

Your WhatsApp chats are automatically backed up and saved daily to your phone's memory. Depending on your settings, you can also periodically backup your WhatsApp chats to Google Drive. If you uninstall WhatsApp from your phone, but don't want to lose any of your messages, be sure to manually back up your chats before uninstalling. 

Saving your chat history on Android Phone

1.Open the chat for the individual or group.

2.Tap the Menu Button.

3.Tap More.

4.Tap Email chat.

5.Choose whether to Attach Media or not.

you can also back up your chats at Google Drive Manually ,

1.Open WhatsApp
2.Go to Settings

3.Tap chats.

4.Tap chat backup.

5.Tap on Chat Backup.

NOTE:

• If you choose to attach media, the most recent media sent will be added as attachments.
• When sending with media, you can send up to 10,000 latest messages. Without media, you can send 40,000 messages. These constraints are due to maximum email sizes.

Saving your chat history on Windows phone

To back up your chats

1.Open WhatsApp 

2.Tap on More  

3.Settings 

4.Chats and calls.

5.Tap backup.

To export your chats

If you would like to keep a record of your messages on a computer or in an email, you can email yourself individual chats. Please follow these steps:

Open the chat you wish to export.

Tap on More  > info or group info.

Tap on More  > email chat history.

Notes: 

•  It is not possible to attach chat media in the email at this time. 
• Your chat history will be attached to the generated email as a .txt file (Windows Phone 8.1 and later) or pasted into the body of the email (Windows Phone 7 and 8.0). 
•  You may not be able to email your entire chat history due to Windows Mail size restrictions. The only way to export newer messages would be to delete older messages and then email your chat history again.

Saving your chat history on Symbian phone

If you are using an EVO S40 phone (Nokia Asha 230/500/501/502/503), you can save your chat history by sending your conversations via email as,

1.Open the chat you wish to email in WhatsApp.

2.Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access Options > Chat History > Email Chat History.

3.Your chat history will be attached to the email as a .txt file.

To export , you can use the Export Chats feature:

1.Open WhatsApp.

2.Go to Options > Settings > Chat Settings > Export Chats.

3.Select the chats you wish to export, then select Export.

4.You can find the exported .txt files in your phone's memory card under WhatsApp > Exported Chats.

Note:

Unfortunately there is no chat history backup system on Nokia S40 phones, so there is no way to recover lost chat history data. In order to export your chat history you need to have a memory card. If you remove your memory card or delete WhatsApp, you will lose your chat history.
