Analysing your Wi-Fi singal strength on Ubuntu
The Wi-Fi signal Strength can vary room to room, so it's good to know which is the best spot in the home or office to work form. Here is simple script to find out the signal strength in Ubuntu.
• Create a text file called signalstr.sh and enter the following script:
• save the text file and then run the script using the following command:
#sh signalstr.sh
• After running the script , you're instantly asked to enter the wireless interface name you wish to test, along with the IP address of your router to ping.
